Two Board of Trustees seats will be open on the Berryessa Union School District on the ballot Nov. 4. The terms for current board president Francine Davis and board member Rudy Nasol will end Dec. 31.

Those interested in running for the school board must pick up the necessary paper work from the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters office, located at 1555 Berger Drive (Building No. 2), San Jose. The forms must be completed and filed with the registrar between July 14 and Aug. 8. Candidates can choose to have a personal statement printed on the ballot for a fee of $1,800.

Prospective candidates can form a committee to collect funding for their campaign before the beginning of the filing period. To do so, prospective candidates must send a completed 410 form to the California Secretary of State in Sacramento, bring a copy of that completed form to the Registrar's office, and open a bank account with a 501 form.
